Hungerford family papers, 1836-1927.

Papers of brothers Newman and Clarence Hungerford, and their mother, Charlotte (Catlin) Hungerford. Newman and Clarence were born in Georgia but, along with their mother, lived in Hartford, Connecticut, for many years. They were members of the Society of Colonial Wars and the Sons of the American Revolution. On their mother's side they were direct descendants of Col. Jeremiah Wadsworth. The bulk of the papers are Catlin and Hungerford family history.
